I-10 closure in California prompts state of emergency
Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency in response to the closure of Interstate-10 in Los Angeles.
The closure of I-10 was caused by a fire that burned through a storage lot and damaged the overpass.
Over 160 firefighters worked to put out the fire, which caused extensive damage to the area. [ more ]
